Young Scientists Council (YSC) of Institute for Scintillation Materials (ISMA) was founded in 2007. YSC was created for the expression of young specialists interests in professional and social spheres and unites active young scientists and researchers wishing to take part in global scientific and public life of ISMA. Young scientists are experienced researchers with PhD degree, PhD students and senior engineers up to 35 years.
YSC is an independent, free-willing and elected public body of the Institute for Scintillation Materials. The council promotes the integration of young scientists of the ISMA in the global scientific community and develops international contacts with youth organizations, universities, etc. YSC follows interdisciplinary interplay of young scientists and furthers initiatives on the boundary between science and society. One of the main goals of YSC is supporting of young scientist’s projects and popularization of science in schools and universities.
